Best 10 Punk-Pop CDs - Download When It Rains

Punk originated in the mid-1970's as a dissonant, guerilla revolution opposed to common current of popular culture music. Rock ensambles like Green Day, Iggy Pop, and Pere Ubu boosted punk back in the mid-1990's. This time the blend of lively, simple rock music with rhytmic popular melodies cooled heels on the MTV. These days, so-called punk pop is a key element in the sphere of mainstream pop music. These ten music tracks are the best starting points to get closer to punk pop.

1. blink-182 - Enema of the State

In blink-182's unbounded struggle to insult all grown ups in the vicinity, this record album shed light upon a girl dressed as an enema au pair girl on the booklet. The music on the record is teenage and catchy including the massive hit song “Mutt.”

2. The Donnas - Spend the Night

3. Good Charlotte - Young and the Hopeless

Later fading from their 90's peak of popularity, Green Day retreated to the studio to put together punk's 1st opera. 5. The Lemonheads - Ceiling Fan in My Spoon

The Lemonheads' lead singer Evan Dando is the one and only punk performer to be known as a true teenager hero. Along the way the rock band recorded some outstanding songs, too, including “It's a Shame About Ray”, “Download Pressure” and “Rest Assured”.

6. The Offspring - Smash

The Offspring a highly influential American rock band from Garden Grove, California were one of the original punk revival bands from the 90's. 7. Rancid - The 11th Hour

Rancid a lot like late 1970 classic punk as the Clash. They also use the of ska punk in much of their albums.

8. Simple Plan - Still Not Getting Any…

This Canadian group appeared in the spot in October with their studio album When I'm With You. This 2nd album is much better and includes the hit single “Addicted.”

9. Sum 41 - All Killer No Filler

The single “All She's Got” encouraged to catapult this album into the top 20. Sum 41 inject intelligent humor into many of their hits. Download When It Rains to get a feeling of what we are speaking about.

10. Weezer - Weezer (Blue Album)

Despite the fact that they are esteemed as grandfathers of the anti-establishment rock music compositions, Weezer's records are also true pop punk. “My Name Is Jonas” was their first popular song and then a video putting the band in a TV episode promoted to make the single even bit more popular.
