Nevertheless, if you do not plan on using only taxis in Kiev, the city has some other transport options to offer.
First of all, it is the underground that can get you almost anywhere in the city. It is very practical when you travel a long way during rush hours when there are traffic jams on the roads. Second, you can use buses, trolley busses and trams. These types of transport are rather inexpensive: you pay a fixed fee to drive any distance. However, they don't have a schedule of passage. Next, you could always walk around or use Kiev's unique transportation - funicular that goes up the bank of Dnieper River. And finally, you can simply use your feet.
